Fresh Start

Goodness, Where have I been?? It has been such a long time since I have visited blogspot period.
Life is crazy, yet amazing at the same time! Which there will be blog explaining everything. But right now I am just trying to find my niche, I need to find out who I want to gear my blog towards. I love o write, and I love meeting new people as well, And I know that writing will give me the chance to make new friends!

So, Where ha Ms.Brady been? Well, I have been here! I am now living in Arizona, which I love! But my heart is in Florida. I miss it so much. I am currently working full time, which is a first for me.
I am currently on the weight loss journey. I have been going through a rough patch right now, and I am using this time to not only strengthen my walk with Christ, but I am using this time to revamp myself. I want to feel better about myself, sometimes I dont feel beautiful, and its time for me to get back to the person I was when I first met my husband.

Long Time

I dont even remember the last time I wrote in this blog, its probably been since October maybe? That is way to long, And I feel bad becauce I have let my blog followers down. I am stuck in a rutt though, I want to be a good blogger, but I feel like my life is way to boring! I really need to find my niche!

These last 5 months have had a lotof ups and downs, but we are making it through!

1. In October we found our church home! Its called Love First Christian Fellowship (LFCC.TV). The name of the church suits it perfectly! The people in this church really do excersise love first! You wont EVER walk through the door without getting a hug from someone, its awesome. And our pastor is AMAZING! His vision for the church is awesome! He wants our church to be a one stop shop basically! If you need to see a doctor, come on in because we have a free clinic, if you need to feed your family, come visit our free grocery store. if you need a place to stay, come stay in our shelter, if you need a job, come on in to our office and fill out an application, because i am sure there is an opening some where. Its amazing, when you have a pastor who is so excited about the vision, and is selfless It make you happy to be apart of this ministry!


2. On the baby front, We have kinda just put it in GODs hands, because we know that we are going to get pregnant this year. We have had several prohecys spoken to us and even to my MIL about the baby. So we have just been thanking GOD in advance for what is to come. Everyday I am praying over my womb, and my son (I have a feeling my first is going to be a boy), i pray that we have a healthy, easy pregnancy with no complications at all. Its crazy because for the past couple of years, if I ever bring up baby stuff to my MIL, she would kind of brush it off, and say thing like, it GODs timing or just stop worrying about it, but a couple weeks ago we were talking about it, and the prohecy she had spoken over her, and she actually gave me some advice, now this might not seem like much to you all, but to me it was amazing. She was just telling me that i need to start preparing my home for what is to come, I need to start buying things here and there. So that is what we have been doing! I have a few outfits already, but I am not going crazy! i can only buy 1 thing, under $10 every paycheck, so thats 2 things a month.


3. Janurary 2nd we celebrated our 5 year anniversary! CRAZY!!! I cant believe I have been married to my best friend for 5 years now! I am more in love now than I was 5 years ago. Everyday our marrige gets stronger. People always ask us what our secret is, and we tell them, 3 things, We ALWAYS put God first, We pray together daily, and we talk things out. We didnt always know these things, when we first got married I was 18 he was 20. We didnt know ANYTHING, but we worked it out, we have matured, now we are just an old married couple! Ha

House Tour PT 1

Well, Im back!

It has been a good minute since I have written a blog! Things are finally starting to slow down! Well let me tell you all what has been going on! about a month and a half ago we decided to move to the BEAUTIFUL state of Florida!

We absolutley love it here.

We live in beautiful townhome that has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The weather is perfect, and the hummidity isnt bad!

My husband and I are a lot happier as well.

My goal is to do like a weekly post/video. It will be just a review of how we are adpating to FL, I want to do that for the first year of us being here!

Unpacking is coming along! We got the lower half of the house done, my goal is to hav the upstair done before the weekend!

I will be doing a home tour as well, so stay tuned!!

I am on a mission to become a better wife, and mother, Yes I have my faults, and I fail most of the time. I complain at my husband when he asks me to grab him a cup of water, or when he asks me to rub his feet. I learning that I complain A LOT, and I know it hurts my husband. I know that is the devil, because I am giver, and when it comes down to my family I will do whatever it takes to keep them happy.
Recently I met my husbands "Uncles" Wife, and let me tell you, She is that Titus 2 and proverbs 31 wife. Her husband cannot work, and is on disability and she has to work full time to help support her family. She ALWAYS is made up and smells good, her house is spotless clean and her husband is well taken care of, and honestly I want to be just like her LOL. I know that not ever women is the same, but if I could be like her, I would. She is a pastors wife, but she isn't snobby and she doesn't think she is better than everyone.
She is my example of how I want to be.
So my prayer is that God works on me to become the wife and mom he wants me to be.

Some exciting things!

First off, my blog is under construction! I am trying to revamp and figure out all of the customization things that blogger has, so please bare with me! But, if any of you know someone who does layouts and such...FOR FREE please let me know. I want my blog to be nice, and I want people to feel welcome when they come by to read!

There are some pretty cool things that are going on in my life, but I'm not going to share it with you all just yet! Just know its huge! And no I am not pregnant... Yet! So in about a month I will be sharing the news with you all!

I the mean time I will try to write more blog posts! I need to get more involved!

My best friend is my twin sister Tiffany. We were born 23 years ago, in Arizona. She is 1 whole minute older than me.

Tiffany, You dont know how much you mean to me. Yes we are living different lives right now, But I alway know I can come to you when I need to talk.

You never judge me, You laugh at me when I say something stupid, but most of all you love me no matter what.

You always seem to know what to say, and its always at the right time.

Sometimes I wish we could fast forward back to our childhood just for one day. Those were the good day when we would just listen to music and talk about boys.

One thing I love the most about you is your ditziness, It never gets old.

Sister, I want the best for you.

I pray that you will seek GODs face whole heartedly.

We may fuss and fight, and we may say things to each other that we don't mean.

But I know that your love for me is unconditional and mine for you is as well.

Our Love Story

1/2/2007 Was the day my life changed for the better!

Patrick and I do not have a traditional "How we met" Story, We didn't have a long courtship. For us, things were quick and to the point.

We "met" November of 2006, on Myspace. Yep you read it right, we met on MYSPACE, of all places.

I was the one who actually sent him a friends request on there, ONLY because he had a picture of him and his son as his profile picture and I want to see more of the little guy.

Few days had passed and he finally accepted my request, and a long with it he left me a message saying "Hey baby." LOL he was trying to get fresh already. I wrote him back and said "Baby? My name is Tierra, how are you?"

And then from there we sent a few messages back and forth and then that was it for a few weeks.

Well on Christmas Eve I was really thinking about him, So I got on MS and he was online. I wrote him a message, he wrote me back saying "Hey I was just thinking of you, why dont you call me" He gave me his number... I started FREAKING out. It took me a good 10 minutes before I called him. WhenI called him we talked FOR HOURS, about everything, we talked about our goals, and what we wanted out of life, we talked about God, marriage and children.

We decided to go on a date to see a movie the a couple after Christmas. We decided to see ""Black Christmas"

So. the next day I got dressed and ready for our date, I was early *like always* Finally he came up the escalator , my heart skipped a beat, He was so handsome, and he smelled SO good... I was in love already, We hugged, he bought our tickets. As we were walking to our theater he told me that he is very jumpy when it comes to scary movies! LOL I told him to not worry, I would hold his hand if need be. The movie started and he did that awkward yawn and then stretch his arm over my shoulder thing. Cheesy I know!

Well, after the movie he walked me to my car which was in the parking garage and I was just gonna drive him to his car, since he parked at a parking meter.

The movie ended at 8 i believe, and we stayed and talked in the garage until about 11. It was amazing. I told him to call me as soon as hr got home, he lived in a smaller town about 15-20 mins away from me.

The next day he came to my apartment, from then on we were inseparable which was friday the . I had to go back to school. We were talking on the phone and I told said to him, we should go get married. and he said "Tierra, don't play with me, I would marry you today if I could.

"I said "really?" and he said "Yes I would"

Then I said "Well lets go to the courthouse after school."

And we did. Friday we went to file our paper work and got our license, and on monday we were married.

So after a few short days I became Mrs.B and here we are almost 5 years later still Very much in love.
